- Finding your style: During your research, there are a number of articles that you should read. Choose an academic text that you find enjoyable and easy to read. Study its structures and arguments to include in your paper. Try to check how the author uses the techniques in convincing the readers and see if you can apply it.
- Avoid repetition: Look for phrases and words that you stated elsewhere in your sentences and cut it out. You can read aloud your paper to spot unnecessary words or repeated words.
- Structuring your sentences: It is worth to distinguish the main points from less essential supporting ideas. You should aim in giving full weight to your main weights. You need to elaborate and avoid long sentences. If you want to add clauses, introduce it into a new sentence.
- Acknowledging ideas: Your dissertation needs to contain original thoughts, but it is also important to refer to the ideas of other writers. Your paper must evaluate the ideas and identify the problems that remain and area that has not been explored. If you want to back up some of your arguments, using the work of others as evidence is a nice idea.
- Perfect your bibliography: be sure that you have enough number of references to articles and books.
